West Coast Wishes

This will be my last post of 2010. For me it was a lovely year with many West Coast paintings sold both locally and all over the world, thanks to the Internet.

To wish you well, I am using a framed effect I made in watercolours, containing our most popular images: the boats, the cottages, fisher folks, a gull and a delicious pot of mussels!

  8. Thanks Carol! Kind of you!

Kathy, I want to chat a lot next year. I admire the subject that you teach and am a great reader and collector of modern American literature.

Carolann, the Internet can be quiet for months and then sometimes one can sell a few works in a row!

    Thank you, Padmaja!

Thank you, and More of the same visits next year, Linny! I always like to see your creations!

  15. Such a gorgeous painting here, Marie! I love it and it has such a illustrative feel. I always love illustrations to go with words. Such power and beauty all combined when that happens. Hoping 2011 is another fabulous year for you and your's!

  16. Manon, Liz, Mary, Ronell, Barbara, Catherine and Sherry, thank you so much! As you have probably gathered by now, I was away for nearly three weeks. We traveled over 5000 km over this vast and beautiful country. The last week I was quite ill from tick bite which makes one very feverish, and I longed to be home. Can you imagine me asking: "Are we there yet?"....nevertheless, I am feeling much better and will soon start blogging and visiting.
